Turnip "Saharnaya Koroleva"
Turnip "Sugar Queen".
Perfectly stored in the autumn-winter period.
An early ripening variety that can produce two harvests per season. It forms root crops in 47-55 days from germination. But you can “crunch” a classic turnip after 35-45 days when bunch ripeness arrives. Round root vegetables have yellow, sweet, juicy pulp. Tender young leaves with a lot of carotene are suitable for salads. Root crops of the autumn harvest weighing 120-140 g are perfectly stored.
The variety is recommended for consumption fresh, fried, baked, stewed or stuffed.
Agrotechnics.
Sowing seeds in May, to a depth of 1.5-2 cm, for summer use; in early July - for winter storage.
The distance between the lines is 12-15 cm. In phase 4 of the true leaf, the seedlings are thinned out, leaving 5-10 cm between plants.
Care of the crops includes loosening the rows, weeding, regular watering, 2-3 fertilizing with mineral fertilizers, and pest control.
